Year 2004 BAR Meeting: Birmingham - October 2nd.

I hope everyone had a great time at this years event. The credit has to go to Dr. Kumar Prasad for organising the event at such short notice. I did not have a camera but if anyone has any photos of the event then I can post them up here, just email them to amitsingh@rajputs.org.uk.

At this years event the organisation made several changes to the infrastructure of the members. The days of a single person taking the responsibility for an entire meeting has changed and the this responsibility has been left to the organising committee that was created. As such no meeting has been planned for next year as they organising committee have not decided this so far. If you have any comments about where the event should be held or what type of events you want to see at next years meeting then please use the forum or email me your ideas so I can pass them on. 

The organisation is seeking to add two new dimensions to the infrastructure. The organisation as a whole have been  looking into the ideas of funding and sponsorship opportunities to the take the organisation further. Also there has been much talk about donating to charities and getting listed as registered charity. Again if you have any views on this then let the organising committee know.

A reminder that the life membership is £101 and allows a discount on attending annual events. Also we are working on the idea of having a CD catalogue of all the members in order to facilitate the communication between members. There are plans for a youth meeting in London sometime in the New Year around January or February, so please keep checking the site for updates.
